ON OUR 250th
What's your wish for America's future?
Hundreds of communities across the United States are hosting Wish Walls to invite visions for our nation's future. Host your own or find one near you.

Host a Wish Wall for America's 250th
Whether you have a one-day concert, a high-traffic hallway, a digital chatroom, a community bulletin board or a mural, you can invite people to answer one powerful question: “What’s your wish for the U.S.?”
Why host a Wish Wall?

Visual and Content-Ready
A visual focal point to anchor your event or exhibit, with more ways to drive participation via social media, thought leadership and storytelling.
Add-on Programs
Turn your Wish Wall into a Pledge Wall and gather commitments, conduct voter registration, invite artists or host a panel.

Find a Wish Wall
Atlanta History Center
Opening on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January to inspire visions and dreams like Dr. King's, and staying up through Civic Season 2026, Atlanta's Wish Wall pays homage to the Atlanta History Center's upcoming centennial as well as the nation's big birthday.
Smithsonian Institution
The National Museum of American History hosted a 28-foot Wish Wall mural, designed by Youth250 Bureau Member Katie Costa, in the Civic Season Pavilion during summer 2025. From the thousands of wishes, Smithsonian curators are building a time capsule to be opened in 2075!
The New York Historical
The New York Historical launched OnOur250th.org with Made By Us and 30 other history museums, put out a full-page ad in the New York Times and took to the streets - and Morning Joe! - to collect wishes across the country.
