Celebrate Independence Day at the National Museum of the Pacific War immediately following the Fredericksburg Fourth of July Parade with a family-friendly afternoon honoring the people, stories, and sacrifices that shaped our nation’s history. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., guests are invited to gather in the Memorial Courtyard for an afternoon of patriotic fun featuring food trucks, games, a musical performance by Bohanon, interactive booths, and hands-on activities available by donation. Inside the George H.W. Bush Gallery, families can take part in a patriotic scavenger hunt through the Museum with a special prize for those who complete it, test their knowledge during WWII and American history trivia, and meet living history interpreters showcasing real historical artifacts that visitors can see up close and even touch. Whether you are visiting after the parade or spending the day in Fredericksburg, join us for an afternoon of history, community, and patriotic celebration.
