Highlights tours leave on the hour from the First Floor and Second Floor. Two new spotlight tours introduce visitors to In Pursuit of Life, Liberty & Happiness and the Democracy wing of the museum. Spotlight Tour: In Pursuit | First Floor, Center | Daily | 11:15 a.m. In Pursuit of Life, Liberty & Happiness is a museum-wide exhibition that explores how Americans, across 250 years, have pursued the ideals of the Declaration of Independence. Join a docent for an introduction to 250 objects that tell the story of Americans coming together to make change through politics, science, popular culture, invention, and so much more. Spotlight Tour: Democracy | Meet at the Hub, Second Floor, Center | Daily | 1:30 p.m. Join a docent for a 45-minute tour that explores important moments and ideas related to democracy in the United States. Spotlight tours of other exhibitions continue throughout the day; schedules can be found at the information desks.
