Wednesday, June 24th from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. ET Join the American Philosophical Society on Wednesday, June 24th in celebrating Civic Season with our program, “Slice of History: These Truths: The Declarations of Independence Quizzo”! Are you the type of museum-goer who has a competitive spirit? If so, join the APS Museum for "Slice of History: These Truths: The Declarations of Independence Quizzo!" Hang out on our second floor of Philosophical Hall with a night of trivia, snacks, and drinks. Trivia questions will be centered around our exhibition, These Truths: The Declarations of Independence. Don’t know much about the exhibition? Don’t worry! All attendees will spend the first hour in the exhibition and the second part of the program will be trivia categories based on information found in the exhibition. Ever wondered what Jefferson's handwritten Declaration looked like? Or seen one of the first printed copies of it? Did you know about the 19th century feud over printing copies of the Declaration? These are just the beginning of what you can discover as you explore the exhibition throughout the night. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. We ask that attendees arrive on time at 5:30 p.m. If you register and wind up not being able to attend please email MuseumEducation@AmPhilSoc.org with your cancellation. We hope you can join us on June 24th for some after hours pizza, snacks, and of course, trivia! Civic Season is brought to you by Made By Us and partners like the APS! Curious about the Civic Season?
