The Human Library is a place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated, and answered. Conner Prairie is partnering with The Human Library for a unique connection to combat prejudice and celebrate diversity. Stop by and borrow a human “book” where readers can ask any questions and explore conversations that readers may not normally have access to. These “books” have volunteered their time to share their stories and answer questions about topics like gender/sexuality, religion, lifestyle, family, and health. The Human Library Organization is a global movement working to build spaces in the community for personal dialogue about issues that are often difficult, challenging, and stigmatizing.
